I am Spanish, living in Vienna since 2000. I studied German philology in Madrid. Before that, I had completed a vocational training in administration and management and a yearly module in programming and management.
During my studies I worked as a translator in different Spanish companies. After graduating, I worked for a Spanish company as a foreign trade manager and taught Spanish and German at various language schools in Austria and Spain (including International House and the Instituto Cervantes).
In the framework of the EU exchange programme “Leonardo da Vinci” I travelled to Vienna as a group leader. Finally I decided to stay in Austria where I worked as a translator for an international NGO for 7 years.
In the meantime I did a six-month international master’s degree and obtained a specialist qualification in online and blended learning.
Afterwards, I decided to take the path of independence.
In 2011, “elebe” was born, where I can offer everything I like to do: teaching languages, layout and publishing news, creating interactive material on our Caramba platform and bringing the world of Spanish and German a little closer together. Looking back, I have the feeling that my entire life and career path has led me to elebe, a project of which I am particularly proud.
My strengths lie in recreational teaching and computer science. I also enjoy cooking with my students and introducing them to culinary culture as part of their Spanish course. Personally, I am a great source of ideas, which I enjoy putting into practice.
